Name My Next Blog Post
If you want to read the opposite side of a popular argument – I’m game.
If you want to see me link something ridiculous to a marketing, social media, or PR lesson – let’s do it.
If there’s a question you don’t think is getting answered sufficiently – I’ll research it and throw down some answers from my perspective.
It’s really up to you to determine the direction of my next blog post.
Have fun with it and maybe we’ll all learn a little something.

Maybe you could help answer our recent question here?

Thanks for your suggestion, ThereGoesFun – It really is a touchy situation.
I think it often depends on your current workload. At times, start-ups simply need money and if the client wants to try it their way, it’s difficult to say now when they’ll pay you to do it their way. On the other hand, your work for the client is a representation of your work to future potential clients.
The best you can do is back up your suggestions with strong data and gently help the client remember that you are the expert that they hired to do the work. If the client still wants it their way, it’s time to decide whether the money is worth the potential risk of work that damages your reputation.
